Day Trips Starting at the Sonnhof

Apart from breath-taking lakes and interesting museums, there are many more exciting places and beautiful spots to explore starting from the Hotel Sonnhof. Bring your Alpbachtal Seenland Card and take advantage of many discounted rates and included services offered to all holders of this card, which you receive upon arrival here at the Sonnhof in Radfeld.

The Reintalersee

On the somewhat elevated Reintaler Seenplatte (lake plateau), the three basins of the Reintalersee lake lie close together hidden behind gently rounded hills. Bathing here is absolutely idyllic – only fish, swimmers and rowing boats cross the water.

The Krummsee

The Krummsee, which lies slightly west of the Reintalersee, is one of the warmest lakes in Tyrol. It reaches temperatures of up to 25°C and its water quality is excellent. The Krummsee is therefore the ideal water for anyone with sensitive toes!

The Berglsteiner lake

Climb for about 45 minutes up from the Reintalersee and discover a picture book lake, as it were. A fissured rock face rises up on one side of the lake, and the lake is surrounded by soft woodland with a clearing that makes a good sunbathing spot.
