Rattenberg
Small but feisty! Right at the foot of the castle from the 10th century, the wildly romantic medieval old-town of Rattenberg entices guest from far and wide to marvel at the traditional handcraft shops and exquisite items to treasure for years to come.
Especially the Tyrolean glass manufacture such as glass blowing, -painting, and -finishing have given Rattenberg fame way beyond our national borders. Interestingly, the technique of glassblowing hasn't changed for centuries. The company Kisslinger allows guests insight into this fascinating handcraft and if you want, you can even try your hand at glass-blowing yourself.
