You get a similar feeling of independence and making your own way on ski tours with fur-covered skis or on winter hikes. The varied terrain of the Rofan and the Kufstein Alps is ideal for these outdoor activities.

 

CROSS-COUNTRY SKIING AND SKATING

 

Every step you take in this natural landscape leaves you feeling refreshed and revived. Various cross-country trails lead through Radfeld and connect it to the surrounding villages. Whether you prefer the classic or skating form of cross-country skiing – the region offers a total of 100 km of cross-country trails.

 

ICE SKATING

 

The lakes lie dormant below the smooth layer of ice on which ice princesses and skating artistes perform their arabesques. You can even find Alpine curling everywhere.

A FUN WAY OF GETTING AROUND

 

The three riding stables in the surrounding area offer romantic sleigh rides and anyone wishing to gallop through the snow on the back of a Tyrolean Haflinger is very welcome. Although winters were always harsh for the people

of Tyrol, they instilled in them a spirit of inventiveness when it comes to making their own fun and entertainment. Thus, every Tyrolean village has a romantic toboggan run. Speeding through the snow on a toboggan fires you up and makes people of all ages whoop with joy.
